Parker Poe Consulting worked with automotive cooling and air intake specialist Tristone Flowtech USA to assess multiple candidate sites and secure the business conditions the company needed to make the $23.6 million commitment associated with their plans to construct a new production facility near Charlotte, NC.
The company, a subsidiary of Tristone Flowtech Group of Frankfurt, Germany, will build its first US manufacturing facility in Mooresville, NC, where it will create 302 jobs.
Tristone Flowtech ―a full-system provider of engine and battery cooling systems as well as air charge and air intake applications for the automotive industry ― chose the site to better serve its growing list of US-based original equipment manufacturers.
Working in partnership with officials from Iredell County, the Town of Mooresville, the Economic Development Partnership of NC, the NC Department of Commerce and the North Carolina Community College System, Parker Poe Consulting assisted Tristone with all site selection and incentive negotiation matters.
The Mooresville plant will be the company’s eleventh production site, joining existing facilities in Europe, China, India and Mexico.
