Azad Khan, Principal at Parker Poe Consulting, was recently quoted in Area Development’s 36th Annual Survey of Corporate Executives Commentary about how the Covid-19 Pandemic has shifted the focus for some corporate decision-makers. Azad states that corporate decision-makers are now prioritizing a location’s labor costs, inbound & outbound shipping costs, and the availability of raw materials more than before the pandemic started.
Nonetheless, Azad explains that “those “age-old" site selection factors, such as available workforce, infrastructure, accessibility, available land/buildings, state and local incentives, etc. continue to appear in the survey results.”
