ZF Group, an equipment supplier for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology, today announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Laurens County. The company's $500 million investment will create up to 400 new jobs. The site will be the company’s first North American flex manufacturing facility, serving both passenger car and commercial vehicle applications.
In addition, ZF Group announced a $200 million investment into an automatic transmission production line at the Laurens County facility. The company will make 200,000 transmissions per year by 2025 to supply U.S. commercial vehicle manufacturers.
