Nelson Lindsay helps businesses expand their footprints in North America by identifying optimal solutions for entry, expansion, or relocation. He also advises state, regional, and local economic development organizations on strategies to achieve their goals. He has nearly three decades of expertise in economic development, including most recently as president and CEO of the Central SC Alliance (CSCA).
Nelson oversaw the execution of CSCA’s efforts to recruit jobs and increase investments in Columbia and its eight surrounding counties. Prior to that, he was the director of global business development for the South Carolina Department of Commerce. His role included supervising all project management activity, new industry recruitment, and aiding existing industry with growth opportunities. He has also previously served as the economic development director for Richland and Kershaw counties.
